God's Plan

In the beginning God had a plan
Which, through it all, included man.
He made a worlds which was without sin
And placed Adam there to live within.
He was to rule and govern all,
Of course this was before the fall.
Satan, that serpent, had committed sin.
He rebelled against God, thinking he could win,
But was thrown out of heaven after a fight
And then on the earth he did alight.
He carried a power which we call sin
And used it on earth, the world to win.
It is a rebellion against God's will
And from the day of our birth, each one doth fill.
For God forbade Adam to eat of the fruit,
But this plan of God did not Adam suit.
So he ate the apple and sin filled him
And that is now the fix we are in.
Adam passed on that sin to everyone
So we too have sin, for we're Adam's son.
Along with sin, physical death appeared.
I ends life on earth and is greatly feared.
Sin grew on the earth, and God became mad,
Because man on the earth had become so bad.
He decided to kill all of mankind
But then He did one good man find.
So He commanded Noah and ark to build,
Then sent the flood which all mankind killed,
Except for Noah and the animals too,
Because Noah did what God told him to do.
Time passed on; man continued his way,
And about his sin God had another say.
He said, "I'll take Abram and make him a race
Which will show the nations what should take place."
But the Jews were rebellious, they lived in the sin
And that was the fix that mankind was in.
So God tried again, chose Moses to lead,
Gave mankind the rules that they should heed.
Man had no power to conquer sin
Yet knew the rules; what a mess he was in.
So he continued upon his evil way
Just as many continue right up to this day.
Once again God decided in His wonderful love
And send his son, Jesus, from heaven above.
He came as a babe and grew to a man
Set out to complete the rest of God's plan.
Jesus taught the disciples with power and love
And then returned to heaven above.
He died on a cross for all of man's sin
And gave us the power to conquer therein.
For if in Christ Jesus we truly believe
All of our sins he will surely relieve.
Then, with the power sent from heaven above,
Came the Holy Spirit with all of his love.
To guide us and lead us along the way
And overcome sin as we live day by day.
Christ taught of God's plan for him to return,
To a new heaven and earth, for which we all yearn.
Over combined heaven and earth, Christ will be King
That is God's plan. It's the end of the thing.
So have faith in Jesus and you will be there,
With angels and friends in the heavenly air.
But that is not all; we have a job to do.
To tell to all people this story too.
