Autobiographical I

Shafts of light,
Lit by compassion,
Passively allowed by true power,
Outbound travel
Along discernible paths
To equally clear destinations.

An obedient vessel
Requires not evidence of destiny derailed,
However, that which was lit
Will be watched without worry
As better ways to light
Become newly available

Listening, waiting,
Acting autonomously
Until the voice is present
And the presence sought
Ushers in new intent
Forcing away
Old reluctant attachments
